We’ve played him on too many live shows to count, he was the winner of our Birthday Best Awards and we’ve been spoilt rotten by his free features! So welcome back Tom, we are always happy to see you.
Tom Rosenthal is a 26 year old singer-songwriter from London. He is a person who writes songs. He write songs and composes things and make things. He’s created two albums and is currently working on his third.

Analog Birds are a psychedelic rock group from Brooklyn and Sound Beach, NY. Their compositions are melodic and new; their productions are awash with harmonies and unexpected twists and turns.They produce recorded music that rewards attention, rather than serving as wallpaper for a daily commute. This is a new (August 2015) single from them – produced by Analog Birds in Brooklyn and Sound Beach, NY. * If you notice something different about the band, it’s because this is their first release since vocalist Asa Milbankx transitioned to Isobel Morris.

Seattle singer/songwriter Bella Farinas is an eighteen year-old self taught musician. Growing up, she admired her two older sisters who were dancers and singers. At the age of fifteen, Bella was inspired to pursue music on her own.

The Alpine Camp is an endeavor that started as a musical challenge and blossomed into a larger obsession. It is music created with absolutely no limitations, except one; the music will be played on roots instruments. The resulting EP achieved this goal and in doing so, inspired Charles and Chris to create it’s namesake band; The Alpine Camp. The group is anchored by the songwriting partnership of Bell and Etienne whose childhood friendship has developed the two into lifelong musical companions.

Edewaard, is an independent American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, touring artist, & producer. He has written, performed, recorded, & published 6 albums; 4 of which Edewaard produced himself. Edewaard’s music is often noted as being reflective of classic Rock/Pop & New Wave, carrying influences reminiscent of artists from the late 70’s & early 80’s. The albums are typically riddled with short, punchy, melodic tracks focused heavily on the lyricism. Edewaard is also a song-writer & producer for the New York based, non-profit organization, Songs of Love; dedicated to providing personalized songs for children and teens facing tough medical, physical, or emotional challenges.

“Weightless” by The Manic Shine is our kick ass free music feature this Friday. This band are Discovery 2 alumni and have featured on the show in all respects, with interviews, live sets and even a previous free music feature, so we are delighted to welcome them back with another!
The last year has seen the London foursome go from strength to strength, gaining support and spins on XFM’s The Rock Show to featuring in Kerrang!, Scuzz TV and many plays on BBC Introducing. Their own unique blend of Alt-Rock, ambient sounds and towering riffs, all delivered at full tilt with a pounding rhythm section have earned the band a fearsome live reputation and burgeoning and loyal fanbase. Now with producer Lee Batiuk (Deaf Havana) on board, and the release of two exciting singles ‘Haze’ and ‘Blind Love’, a new explosive offering ‘Trial & Triumph’ is planned for release on Nov 16th. With a successful PledgeMusic Pre-Order Campaign underway and national tours to support, progress shows now signs of slowing down for the band and are all set for a busy and exciting 2015.
