“Love Ain’t Easy” by Bella Farina is our free music feature of this week! Every song of hers is such lovely listening. Put this on on a Sunday morning and relax into Bella’s lush voice. (Save “Runaway” for when you are feeling more punchy though).
Seattle singer/songwriter Bella Farinas is an eighteen year-old self taught musician. Growing up, she admired her two older sisters who were dancers and singers. At a very young age, Bella was inspired to pursue music on her own. Throughout the past two years, Bella has performed all around the Seattle area. She has been mentored by Ann & Nancy Wilson (The Band Heart), as well as Michael Shrieve through STG. Bella has worked with Grammy award winning producer Harvey Mason JR, Kenton Duty (Disney) and many more. Bella’s new EP is now on iTunes!

“Summer Sun Demo” by Nakisha Esnard is her gift to you this Friday. We’ve featured this lady on the free music feature before and she just won song of May 2015! So download this one and then go get involved with all the music she’s putting out there.
Nakisha Esnard is a Musician Poet from Bedfordshire. She has a mixed genre style of Reagge/Soul in her sound, and her personality is every bit part of her performance as the music is. Nakisha has been touring now over the last 2 years, playing shows all over the UK. She has also recently ventured out into theatre, performing and writing for Cabaret shows. Her mixed Genre style, stems from her mixed culture and she wholeheartedly embraces both her British side and her Caribbean heritage. She plays a variety of instruments, but her current instrument of choice is the Ukulele. It gives a great island sound for the reggae and her soulful voice resonates well with her chosen chords. Her ability to freestyle and interact with her audiences are a big part of why Nakisha’s shows are unique.
Zeppelin by JoeJoeKeys – Free Music Feature
Another song from JoeJoeKeys’ Soundcloud page, which is a great place to visit to find some great, extremely eclectic tunes from a very talented guy. This jazzy tune was apparently recorded while JoeJoe was in college, but is a great example of his skills. Check him out on his website for his latest album and more music from him.

“Where I Belong” by JoeJoeKeys is the free music feature of the week. We played one of his tracks on the live show two episodes back and are delighted to see he has a selection of tracks available for your listening, and for free!
JoeJoeKeys is a professional musician who has been active in the industry for over 15 years. He has appeared on numerous albums, and has extensive experience writing music in addition to recording and performing. Joe has toured every region of the United States, being a featured member of multiple bands. Joe has many passions in the field, including musical production, engineering, and social media promotion for artists. Joe currently teaches piano at Western NY’s largest privately-owned music school. Presently, he devotes much of his focus to JoeSara, Inc., a digital music service.

‘Easy’ by Nathaniel Rateliff is our free music feature of the week. Justin and I were playing some of his beautiful stuff on the live show this week, whilst in talks of his upcoming tour dates in London! If you haven’t heard him yet, the time is now. Take this one absolutely for free – save the money to buy the ticket.
Rateliff grew up of modest means, the son of devout Southern churchgoers. The family sang together throughout his childhood. At age 7 Rateliff learned the drums. As a teenager, he stumbled across a cassette of Led Zeppelin’s IV abandoned in a local barn; he wore the tape out listening to it on headphones, drumming along with “When the Levee Breaks” and “Misty Mountain Hop.”

Grayson, born in Landsthul, Germany, transferred to EOU fall of 2012, where he then started his journey through the ever elusive music scene. Band consists of Jacob Malone (guitarist), Andrew Wiggington (Drummer), and Griffin Fleming (Bass) . Lyrics insinuate a lifestyle which is provocative and simply morally gray, while music style ranges from dance, from slow, to head banging.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nakisha at last nights Discovery 2 and I can sincerely those who weren’t there, you missed out! Such an interesting, entertaining and over all talented lady. ‘Let’s Be Bolder’ by Hanna’s Marines is our free music feature this Friday! This track was introduced to me by Justin and I hope you like it as much as I do. We’ve played this on the live show and it is currently running in the Top 10 of April 2015 so if you take a fancy to this then do go vote before the month’s up!
Hanna’s Marines is a London-based, female-fronted, alternative/pop four-piece. Hanna, bolstered by her troop of musicians, has been engaging in acoustic warfare since Sept 2013.
Rain Is Good For Migrains by Kolo – Free Music Feature MP3
‘Rain Is Good For Migrains’ by Kolo is your kick ass free music feature today! These boys are Discovery 2 alumni and have been seen on the live show, on the free music feature previously and in our Top 10. Needless to say we can get enough of them.
Kolo are a pop rock three-piece based in South London. The band previously toured America with 3 Doors Down, so when it came to recording an album earlier in 2014, Jon knew exactly whom he wanted to record with. Kolo flew out to Nashville TN in March this year to record their debut album ‘Do you want to rule the world?’ with Chris Henderson (3 Doors Down guitarist). The album is due for release in early 2015. The band signed with LHMRecords in summer 2014. ‘Castro’, the first track from their forthcoming album, ‘Who Wants to Rule the World?’ which c out on January 19th 2015.
