These chaps submitted one of their tracks for the live show and whilst nosing around their stuff I discovered this track going for the sweet price of nothing! This is a the lead track off the bands EP ‘Tri-State Series Volume 1: Tennessee’ soon to be followed by the next two Volumes: Idaho and Ohio!
Founded in the early months of 2011, Zach Wolfe & the Coyotes started out as a side project and has blossomed into a thriving Alt-Rock band from Nashville.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew at Discovery 2 last Thursday, and (don’t worry) we got the interview and live set so see this as a taste of whats to come! It’s not often enough that we slow things down with a love song but what nicer way to ease your way into weekend.
Singer, songwriter and composer for Imagen Production Music. Andrew Maxwell Morris has previously toured with Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), supported Marillion and played Glastonbury 2008, 2010 and 2011! His music has been synced to a whole host of television channels and adverts, film trailers and films. Andrew Maxwell Morris released his debut album in 2014.

It seems that when Whisky Barrel Rocker was in the studio, they recorded a bunch of tunes and have kindly put a few up on their Reverbnation page to share for free. These Walls Have Teeth by Ginger on the Rock’s is the free music feature this Friday! These lovely lot were a part of Brandinch Battle of Bands and as part of such they came in for a little interview – after which they release this, their first ever single, early so that we could feature it on the show. Not only that, but they also choose to release it for free!
Formed in October ’14, Ginger on the Rocks are a Devon based alternative acoustic trio that have created a distinctive cocktail mixing powerful vocals, killer guitar and hypnotic djembe drum beats.
Only just having released their stunning debut ‘These Walls Have Teeth’, Ginger, Amber and Stone have created a unique sound that has drawn audiences in and left them more than a little shaken and stirred.

We played her single “The Fall” on the live show Monday and it made me want more from this girl, so off I stumbled to her Soundcloud page to discover that she has a beautiful selection of freebies that could be yours to own today! Start here, and then continue down the winding path that is Charlotte Eriksson.
The story of The Glass Child, Charlotte Eriksson, is one of those you usually see on movies. Only 18 years old she left everything she had and knew, family and friends, and moved to London to dedicate her life to her music and art. A vague dream about reaching out with her music became an everlasting journey about fighting for your right to build a life on your own terms, learning what it means to be an artist and how to make an impact. Forward four years and she has started her own record label Broken Glass Records, released 5 EPs, released her critically acclaimed debut full-length ‘I’d Like To Remain A Mystery’ in February 2013, had her single ”I Will Lead You Home” reaching #2 on the Swedish Itunes-chart and was names Breakthrough Indie Artist Of The Year by Lemonade Magazine. In April 2013 she also independently published her first book “Empty Roads and Broken Bottles; in search for The Great Perhaps”, telling the story about leaving, searching and going after your dream.

To mark the winner of our Birthday Best Awards I thought we should post a celebratory track from the man himself Tom Rosenthal. This track entitled ‘Heaven Will Be Boring’ is one of many unique and utterly brilliant tracks you’ll find over on his Soundcloud page. Justin and I are huge fans of this man – and clearly so are you, as you voted him number 1 song of the Birthday Best Awards with his track ‘Hey Luis Don’t Bite Me’ (also available for free on his Soundcloud page).
Tom Rosenthal is a 26 year old singer-songwriter from London. He is a person who writes songs. He write songs and composes things and make things. He’s created two albums and is currently working on his third.

‘Ego’ by Cajsa Siik is our free music feature of the week! We had her as a guest on our live show a couple of weeks back and she’s is simply LOVELY! We were honoured to have her and featured her newest single as our favourite track of the week. Looking back into her music history I’ve found she’s kindly offering a few of her tracks for free! I think ‘Ego’ is a great one to start your discovery with.
Cajsa Siik was born in a fishing village outside the town of Umeå in the north of Sweden. Here she ventured on her musical path which has lead her to Stockholm, her new hometown. Besides writing her own music, Cajsa Siik’s vocals and cello playing has been a feature for acts including Birgit Bidder, Montt Mardié, Amanda King (AUS) and Jörgen Kjellgren (Oh Laura). She released her latest single meer weeks ago.

‘Cha Cha Bang’ by Van Susans is your free music feature of the week! We been playing this track on the live show since it came out back in 2011 however when I saw it was currently available for free I thought – for those of you who haven’t been listening, it would be a great way to get to know the band.
Van Susans are an exciting five piece alternative folk outfit hailing from both the outskirts of suburban London and the rugged highlands of Glasgow. Having been heavily influenced by Americanised pop rock culture with their past release (as seen in this record) the band acknowledge that they have taken a step toward a more mature and perhaps darker side, pushing the boundaries of their musical prowess further, seeking to reach new heights of engagement. Look out for their next single to be released this spring – and if you are a London liver then do come along to the next gig: March 10th at Proud Camden.

‘Baby Steps’ by Famous Mammoth is your free music feature this Friday! The band were kind enough to submit their song ‘Recycled Friends’ for our live show last week, and now we see that they are offering both that track AND this one away for free. I know, the kindest right?
Famous Mammoth is a three-piece indie band out of Kansa City consisting of Colby Bates, Eddie Mitchell, and Kyle Heslop. They are about to release a six-song EP, shoot a music video for the single “A Little Bit Extra,” and they are planning a regional tour sometime in 2015.
