Episode 84: Mark, Callie and Arizona

Yup, Grey’s Anatomy is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But, how did I feel when Andrew Belle’s “Static Waves” was to appear on the show, just when Mark tells Callie to talk to Arizona about her feelings? (Yes, I know that sounds REALLY contrived.) I was pretty darn stoked for our man Andrew, and thereby gave him Track of the Week for his achievement.
The Scudley Sessions roll on this week again with Peter Renzullo bringing in a fabulous singer/songwriter Helen Shanahan. More details are on the Scudley Sessions page with links back to Pete’s lovely indie record label, Scudley Records.
We’ve also got to remind to you to vote for the Recharged Radio Awards that are rapidly approaching, especially since the voting ends on March 31! Get down there and vote.
And my other project, Insomnia Radio Chicago, has finally launched! If you dig the Chicagoland area’s fine array of music, join Kimmi Rudolph and myself over there for another bi-monthly music podcast with some great music!
One more quick note: I’ve been getting promises from bands and artists to send me jingles, but NO JINGLES HAVE YET TO ARRIVE. This makes me do this :-(. So, follow the good form of the band Giant Wow and send me some bloody jingles before I have to start naming names and throwing dead cats. (Monty Python fans…?) Heck, if you haven’t promised me one and you’d like to make me do this 🙂 than send one along yourself! You don’t even have to be an artist, you could be a tried-and-true fan, or a new fan… or my mom. Send em, the easiest way is our submission page.
