Congratulations to Blues Music Award nominee Annika Chambers. Recently, Annika and Making My Mark, were nominated Best New Album Artist for the 36th Blues Music Awards.

Making My Mark

Back in September 2013, we debuted Annika Chamber’s track Down South from the yet-to-be-released album, Making My Mark. Of course, we weren’t satisfied with only playing her outstanding track, we cornered Annika to answer 5.5 Questions.

Making My Mark co-producer and bassist, Larry Fulcher, sent us the track. Long time listeners may recall the hour long interview we did with Larry in July 2010. Dominique Fulcher, Larry’s daughter, contributed two original compositions, Down South and That Feel Good.

Fresh off of a mini tour with Ruthie Foster, Larry is currently co-producing Taj Mahal’s next album and recording with The Phantom Blues Band for the next Curtis Salgado album.
