<itunes:summary>Zalinski, one of my favourite London bands has broken up, so I thought I'd replay my interview with them from November when they released their most recent EP, Actions, Reactions, and Misunderstandings. I'm very sad they're gone, but listen to cuts from this great EP (as well as tons of other great tunes) on one of my favourite episodes.

Back next week! See you then... with bells on!

Episode 68: Actions, Reactions and Misunderstandings (http://thejustinwayneshow.com/2009/11/episode-68-actions-reactions-and-misunderstandings/)

//

(../wp-content/uploads/2009/11/zalinski-arm1.jpg)Kerpow! This new EP from Zalinski is crammed full of thick, jam-based, guitar rock that (if you fancy a good rock n’ roll tune) you’re gonna really enjoy. We’ve got the band on the show (in their car, actually) chatting to us about how they came together, the way they write, and where this new EP is taking them. What’s it called? Actions, Reactions, and Misunderstandings. We obviously liked it so much we named the episode after it.

This week we were notified that The Justin Wayne Show has been nominated for a European Podcast Award which was EXCELLENT news! Care to donate thirty seconds (not money!) of your time for the cause? Head over and vote!

Vote for The Justin Wayne Show at the European Podcast Awards Site (http://www.european-podcast-award.eu/uk/start/vote-and-win/personality/type/player/nc/1/uid/1115/podid/1115.html)

We have also got some more fresh sonic deliciousness from Black Bikini Alpha, The Powwows, and another new track from our boys at Junebug.

It's a bit late in the year for june bugs, it being nearly August and all... but never too late if you like the midwestern tunes! Anthony and Tony (not the same person, we'll discuss in the interview) from the band Junebug are on the show this week and we're spinning some exclusive tracks from their new album Modern Day Fairy Tales that you can grab from their website, Junebugmusic.com.

And yes, apologies to the live broadcast listeners of this show - or those who tried to listen - as there were problems down the line. However, I can nearly guarantee that next week's Episode 100 will go off without a hitch as it will be broadcast from Maple Street Studios as I sort out Savoy Studio's internet broadcasting capabilities.

Track of the Week this week comes to us from the extremely talented band Brave Chandeliers. They had just sent me their song "Madmen" and notified me that it was available for free download from their website BraveChandeliers.com and after hearing it it instantly became TOTW. Great stuff guys.

Track of the Week this week comes to us from the extremely talented band Brave Chandeliers (http://BraveChandeliers.com). They had just sent me their song "Madmen" and notified me that it was available for free download from their website BraveChandeliers.com (http://BraveChandeliers.com) and after hearing it it instantly became TOTW. Great stuff guys.

<<Due to recording errors and general bugs in the computer this week, this show did not get recorded for its usual podcast. Because of this, we’ll re-create Episode 98 over the next two episodes of the show in each 1st hour, as the second hours will contain dynamite interviews with the band Junebug and next week with Larry Fulcher!

To fill the gaping hole left by no JW Show podcast, I’ll throw the recent guest hosting I did on the Recharged Radio’s premiere show, The Friday Forum. Look for that soon!>>

Barreling out of control into episode 100 we go! Great stuff on the show this week including another Scudley Session with Peter Renzullo (not to mention having just followed a fantastic episode of Close to Nowhere, have you got on this podcast yet?) He’s got the lovely Bakia Arslanoski along with him for some great tunes and great chat.

Some exclusives this week! First is the Track of the Week from Sierra Alpha coming from a yet-to-be titled EP as they just sent me some brand new tracks they’ve been working on. This one, ‘I See Light’ is their most ballad-y tune to date and very nice, indeed.

Also, prompting a long-overdue interview to be scheduled in the coming weeks, Junebug has finished recording their next album, Modern Day Fairy Tales, to be released this autumn. They’ve got a CD release party for their Fargo, North Dakota fans this weekend and for them we’ve played Casanova from the album which features Lil Buddy Mclain – a force to be reckoned with in the Minneapolis hip-hop scene.

What else have we got…

Right! Great stuff on the show this week. Mark Riley from the band Mostly, Enfield Music dot com, not to mention a fine gentlemen is on the show this week… as well as another great Scudley Session! Salv joins Peter Renzullo at Scudley Records Studios for a very interesting session. These are always a treat.

Lastly, the third track tonight comes from the Minneapolis band Vaudeville. It’s pre-release and they’re offering it for free if you pop over to their Reverbnation site.

Right! Great stuff on the show this week. Mark Riley from the band Mostly (http://mostly.bandcamp.com/), Enfield Music dot com (http://enfieldmusic.com), not to mention a fine gentlemen is on the show this week... as well as another great Scudley Session! Salv joins Peter Renzullo at Scudley Records Studios (http://www.myspace.com/salvtheband) for a very interesting session. These are always a treat.

(http://thejustinwayneshow.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/mahrifront-300x300.jpg)Track of the Week this week goes to Mahri Autumn (http://mahriautumn.com/)'s new release Re-Solv and her track, Moon. The album's available to purchase for what you want, so pop over and grab it (http://www.audionarcissist.com/)... for free even! (But you'll want to spend a bit... won't you?)

Lastly, the third track tonight comes from the Minneapolis band Vaudeville (http://www.reverbnation.com/vaudevillemn). It's pre-release and they're offering it for free if you pop over to their Reverbnation site (http://www.reverbnation.com/vaudevillemn).
