Yeah, it’s Halloween. Creepy stuff is bound to happen, especially on an episode 66!

The Justin Wayne Show indulges in our first Track of the Week (or TOTW as it’s called around the campfire) with a very great track called “Honesty Policy” by a new band to the show, Zalinski. They’ve just recorded their second EP and we’re excited to get our dirty little finger and paws all over it.

Our first video feature, direct from Colin’s Weekly Music Video Podcast is Vitriol by another new band to the show, Bluejuice. These guys are absolutely amazing – so much so they don’t have to take anything seriously. Have a look at their video for this song below.

Brett of Monumental Music Group joins us for a chat in the second half of the show as well as more discussion about Jordan’s alleged beard he’s trying to grow and things like that.

AND, and and… I forgot to mention this on the show but we’ve got a voicemail set up in the US now, thanks to our friends at drop.io (those same friendly folk who provide our FTP dropbox that’s so slick.) It’s just there in the sidebar or dial (within the US or internationally it’s +1) 646-462-4073 and extension 15797. Go on, leave us a message and we’ll get it onto the show.

That’s about it, let’s get this playlist out there.

<itunes:summary>Yeah, it's Halloween. Creepy stuff is bound to happen, especially on an episode 66!

The Justin Wayne Show indulges in our first Track of the Week (or TOTW as it's called around the campfire) with a very great track called "Honesty Policy" by a new band to the show, Zalinski (http://myspace.com/zalinskiband). They've just recorded their second EP and we're excited to get our dirty little finger and paws all over it.

Our first video feature, direct from Colin's Weekly Music Video Podcast is Vitriol by another new band to the show, Bluejuice (http://myspace.com/bluejuice). These guys are absolutely amazing - so much so they don't have to take anything seriously. Have a look at their video for this song below.

Brett of Monumental Music Group joins us for a chat in the second half of the show as well as more discussion about Jordan's alleged beard he's trying to grow and things like that.

AND, and and... I forgot to mention this on the show but we've got a voicemail set up in the US now, thanks to our friends at drop.io (http://drop.io) (those same friendly folk who provide our FTP dropbox that's so slick.) It's just there in the sidebar or dial (within the US or internationally it's +1) 646-462-4073 and extension 15797. Go on, leave us a message and we'll get it onto the show.

That's about it, let's get this playlist out there.

We had LOADS of crackin’ tracks on the show this week, nearly 30 which is a JW Show record. Perhaps we’ll have to try and push 30 in one of these upcoming RR shows. It won’t happen with some of the interviews we’ve been scheduling… which is even better news for you!

First: We’re moving out release date to Wednesday. Many of the AMP (the Association of Music Podcasting) members put their shows out on the weekend so we’ve moved to Wednesday.

They’re great kids!

And third: Back to the interview desk this week with a fabulous musician, Zach Prather. Having played with the likes of Cash McCall and Willy Dixon, he’s putting out some of his own stuff now and it’s fantastic. Here are some links to find him online.

It’s a special show marking 1000 songs added to our playlist here on The Justin Wayne Show. Why is this important?

This podcast, because of its independent nature, searches far and wide for songs to play that are not owned by some communications conglomerate. We don’t care if you’re trying to get there – or trying to make money at what you do – just that you haven’t sold your musical souls yet.

It takes time. Any independent podcaster goes through this process of seeking out, finding, listening, liking, emailing, waiting, waiting, emailing again, waiting, downloading, redoing the ID tags, and finally playing it on the show.

We also get stuff submitted which is usually a blessing. If you’re looking to submit there’s a info portion about it in the sidebar, just scroll down.

As for this week’s show I tried to cram loads into it so enjoy!

<itunes:summary>It's a special show marking 1000 songs added to our playlist here on The Justin Wayne Show. Why is this important?
This podcast, because of its independent nature, searches far and wide for songs to play that are not owned by some communications conglomerate. We don't care if you're trying to get there - or trying to make money at what you do - just that you haven't sold your musical souls yet.

It takes time. Any independent podcaster goes through this process of seeking out, finding, listening, liking, emailing, waiting, waiting, emailing again, waiting, downloading, redoing the ID tags, and finally playing it on the show.

We also get stuff submitted which is usually a blessing. If you're looking to submit there's a info portion about it in the sidebar, just scroll down.

As for this week's show I tried to cram loads into it so enjoy!
