Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 2:00:00 — 141.1MB)Subscribe: iTunes | Android | RSS We also talked about the strong likelihood of us asking you to begin to support the show financially as we’ve got to upgrade – there’s just too many of you listening! We’ll be adding more ways to support the show as we go, but for now you can pop over to the Show’s Shop and buy something. We’d very much appreciate that. JW Show 187: Comfort Music for the Cat and I...

Mar 27, 2013 by

Tweet I think we handled it pretty well, but both the cat and I were whining on the show today as we’re both a bit under the weather. However, we played some excellent comfort music from the likes of Lisa Mann, The Heavy Guilt, Young David, Big Tree, Matthew Heller, Deborah Crooks and more. We even did some dedications after the Discovery 2 Preview which featured  The Winter Tradition, Farao, Common Tongues, and Allie Bradley. It’s going to be a great night this Thursday 28th of March. I need to give a big “THANK YOU” to Mario over at 50K Music for his support. He found us when we did the Amycanbe interview and has been sharing stuff about us over on his music e-zine about independent music. Go check it out! JW Show 185: At the Last Minute and at Great Expense...

Mar 13, 2013 by

Tweet We just snuck in this live episode and ended up a fine show indeed. Umong even helped me launch the show and we continued our discussion about Discovery 2 partnering with the International Music Community (IMC – at imcbuzz.com) putting on four events this year which we’re all excited about. Sometimes unplanned shows go extremely well – I couldn’t have planned this week better. It ended up being a very bluesy show with some R&B and indie flavouring. I hope you like it. We also talked about The Walla Walla Guitar Festival which happened this weekend and was fantastic – we even play a track from The Dakota Brown Band whom we met there. Yes, we’ll get more tracks from bands who played the Festival but not until next week. Podcast: Play in new window | Download...
