Yup, Grey’s Anatomy is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But, how did I feel when Andrew Belle’s “Static Waves” was to appear on the show, just when Mark tells Callie to talk to Arizona about her feelings? (Yes, I know that sounds REALLY contrived.) I was pretty darn stoked for our man Andrew, and thereby gave him Track of the Week for his achievement.

The Scudley Sessions roll on this week again with Peter Renzullo bringing in a fabulous singer/songwriter Helen Shanahan. More details are on the Scudley Sessions page with links back to Pete’s lovely indie record label, Scudley Records.

We’ve also got to remind to you to vote for the Recharged Radio Awards that are rapidly approaching, especially since the voting ends on March 31! Get down there and vote.

And my other project, Insomnia Radio Chicago, has finally launched! If you dig the Chicagoland area’s fine array of music, join Kimmi Rudolph and myself over there for another bi-monthly music podcast with some great music!

One more quick note: I’ve been getting promises from bands and artists to send me jingles, but NO JINGLES HAVE YET TO ARRIVE. This makes me do this . So, follow the good form of the band Giant Wow and send me some bloody jingles before I have to start naming names and throwing dead cats. (Monty Python fans…?) Heck, if you haven’t promised me one and you’d like to make me do this than send one along yourself! You don’t even have to be an artist, you could be a tried-and-true fan, or a new fan… or my mom. Send em, the easiest way is our submission page.

<itunes:summary>Yup, Grey's Anatomy is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But, how did I feel when Andrew Belle's "Static Waves" (http://andrewbelle.com) was to appear on the show, just when Mark tells Callie to talk to Arizona about her feelings? (Yes, I know that sounds REALLY contrived.) I was pretty darn stoked for our man Andrew, and thereby gave him Track of the Week for his achievement.

The Scudley Sessions roll on this week again with Peter Renzullo bringing in a fabulous singer/songwriter Helen Shanahan (http://helenshanahan.com). More details are on the Scudley Sessions page (http://thejustinwayneshow.com/category/scudley-sessions/) with links back to Pete's lovely indie record label, Scudley Records (http://scudleyrecords.com).

We've also got to remind to you to vote for the Recharged Radio Awards (http://rechargedradio.com/text/voting.html) that are rapidly approaching, especially since the voting ends on March 31! Get down there and vote.

And my other project, Insomnia Radio Chicago (http://chicago.insomniaradio.net), has finally launched! If you dig the Chicagoland area's fine array of music, join Kimmi Rudolph (http://themetaldeli.com) and myself over there for another bi-monthly music podcast with some great music!

One more quick note: I've been getting promises from bands and artists to send me jingles, but NO JINGLES HAVE YET TO ARRIVE. This makes me do this :-(. So, follow the good form of the band Giant Wow (http://giantwow.com) and send me some bloody jingles before I have to start naming names and throwing dead cats. (Monty Python fans...?) Heck, if you haven't promised me one and you'd like to make me do this :) than send one along yourself! You don't even have to be an artist, you could be a tried-and-true fan, or a new fan... or my mom. Send em, the easiest way is our submission page (/submit-music).

With an interview with Phil of Modern Cliches, another Track of the Week, a review, and launching the new voicemail (it’s a US number, so +1, then 646-462-4073 and extension 15797) to we’ve got quite the packed show this week!

First, Phil joins us for a chat about the upcoming Modern Cliches double A side, about upcoming gigs and other things.

The Track of the Week comes to us from our new friends over at Futureproof Records and Promotions. They’re called Black Bikini Alpha and their newest single, “Nightmare” drops at the end of the month (the 29th of November.)

We’ve also got “Soar”, a pre-release track from the upcoming Zalinski EP release called Actions, Reactions and Misunderstandings. It’s quite good, and we’re gonna have them on the show for an interview next week so make sure you come back.

Speaking of coming back… come and participate on the live show! I’ve put nifty “figure-out-the-showtime-in-my-timezone” link on the website, or if you’re time zone savvy just come to The Justin Wayne Show dot com or Recharged Radio dot com at 8pm GMT. (It’s 3pm Eastern, 2pm Central, 1pm Mountain, 12pm Pacific for you Americans). If you’re a band, it’s a GREAT way to get your stuff played as you can talk to me via the chatroom and I’d be a fool not to play your stuff if your chatting in the chatroom. It’d seem pretty rude, wouldn’t it? So, by that it’s also a great way to chat with the artists that get played on the show. Kind of like a forum? (Don’t tell Jordan I said that.)

That’s about it this week. Here’s what you came for…

We had LOADS of crackin’ tracks on the show this week, nearly 30 which is a JW Show record. Perhaps we’ll have to try and push 30 in one of these upcoming RR shows. It won’t happen with some of the interviews we’ve been scheduling… which is even better news for you!

So… next week 8pm GMT on Wednesday (click for a time zone converter) meet us back here or on http://rechargedradio.com for the next episode. Watch this spot as we may even be doing it live. Like Bill O’Reilly says…

We’ve also uncovered some goodies from the vault including the Brave Citizens and Brier Rose (yeah, the Bs got buried for some reason.) A few new acts have popped into the inbox the last few weeks so you’ll get to hear them too.

Wanna add your music to the list? We’ve just upgraded out “submit music” page to include a fancy, user-friendly ftp drop box. Go on, try it out!

And, the show’s getting longer. Wanna find out why? You’ll have to tune in next week to witness the unveiling of something new and exciting happening to The Justin Wayne Show. That, and a great interview with independent music artist Trevor Larkin as we talk about the exciting and developing environment of digital music.

Without further ado… oh, maybe one more… ado

<itunes:summary>(http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g10/Newburymusic/lightooutdancing.jpg)Lights Out Dancing talks to us from New Jersey where they're recording their upcoming album. The interview is in three parts and goes along with three of their production demos. Excited for some new LOD? We sure were, and now you too can satisfy that craving.

We've also uncovered some goodies from the vault including the Brave Citizens and Brier Rose (yeah, the Bs got buried for some reason.) A few new acts have popped into the inbox the last few weeks so you'll get to hear them too.

Wanna add your music to the list? We've just upgraded out "submit music" (/submit-music) page to include a fancy, user-friendly ftp drop box. Go on, try it out!

And, the show's getting longer. Wanna find out why? You'll have to tune in next week to witness the unveiling of something new and exciting happening to The Justin Wayne Show. That, and a great interview with independent music artist Trevor Larkin as we talk about the exciting and developing environment of digital music.

Without further ado... oh, maybe one more... ado
