Disappearing by California Gypsies – Free Music Feature MP3

Your free feature of the week is from a band I had the pleasure of seeing live last night! California Gypsies played at this months Discovery 2 in High Street Kensington and they totally rocked it. Their bonus track ‘Disappearing’ is currently available for free along with their cover of ‘Common People’ which they gave us a taste of last night, and let me tell you, it’s pretty sweet. Acoustic track Disappearing is a quieter version of what this band bring to their live show, but it’s lovely to see another side to them and I’m excited to see what their debut album has in store for us.

California Gypsies are a four-piece band made up of Guitar, Bass, Drums and Cello. Classifying themselves primarily as Indie Rock their music is characterised by soaring melodies, thoughtful textures and a strong rhythmic drive. The band was originally formed by and played under the name of frontman Andy Kyte. Having played together for two years, gigging throughout London, as well as Brighton, Southampton and Somerset they developed their own sound and have recently decided to proceed as full band, California Gypsies.
