“Cutting Corners” by The 150 Friends Club is our free music feature of the week. It’s a cheery tune and finishes up with a whistle – which wins me over every time.

Here’s the story – when the David Goo Variety Band came to its natural conclusion, David Goo wanted to do something different. After reading Dunbar’s theory that society works best in groups of 150 people, he concluded an audience of exactly 150 could be pretty sweet too. Smaller numbers, intimate settings, personal rather than alienating. The 150 Friends Club was born.
