Episode 65: Sandpaper

Jordan's "Sandpaper"

Jordan's "Sandpaper"

So… this is Jordan about 10 minutes after shaving.  How many times per day does he have to do this to maintain his baby face?  He’s a committed individual, goes without saying.  You don’t need to do all that WORK!  Just grow it out and trim it once a week!  BRIL!

(It’s actually George Michael, but doesn’t it look a lot like Jordan?!)

Oh yeah!  We do a music show don’t we?  RIGHT… Lots of great new tracks this week including a Monumental Music feature with Trenton and Free Radical, Gabby Young and Other Animals, and Lana all putting out singles or albums this coming week.  Hit up Monumental Management for more info.

ALSO…  the Return of the King… Bobby Scotch.  The Spot with Bobby Scotch returns with a vengeance – and Kid A of ARM management bringing some fabulous tunes, tidings of The Spot being fully rekindled and burning away at http://bobbyscotch.com and he promises to come back to The Justin Wayne Show very soon.

No beards were harmed in the making of this podcast.

Episode 33: St Paul

And the Justin Wayne Show’s Birthday Best marches toward us like a symphonic marching band across town. (Not my best analogy, but you get the point.) If you’re an independent musician, label, or otherwise interested in submitting your music for play on the show and possible play on the Birthday Best, then send it along to thejustinwayneshow@gmail.com. Isn’t gettin’ play always good? You can also ALWAYS find our contact info in the sidebar.

For those of you who saw The Birthday Best and did a “wha…?” It’s going to be our show the first weekend in February commemorating one year of The Justin Wayne Show. It will contain our 20 best songs on the year as well as appearances from at least two, if not all of our old co-hosting crew. Should be a fantastic show, no doubt!

Episode 32: Beer

Hey-lo!

It’s the first show of the new year and we’ve got some new songs to show for it. I’m very excited to announce Misty Odell’s appearance on the show as I’ve had her music for so long but haven’t got the “OK to play” until now. She a fantastic singer/songwriter and doing some fantastic things in the west coast/Colorado area. Check her out!

I also included another song from my friends at Manilla PR and in conjunction with them the JW Show is going to be presenting a very special interview with the head of tourdates.co.uk. Be looking for that in the next couple of weeks to preceed the Birthday Best coming up in February!

So many things happening! I’ll get more info on the blog about the Birthday Best, but for starters it’s going to be the twenty best songs played on the JW Show this year, since we started way back last January 29th. If you’re a band or artist that’s been procrastinating on getting music into the show, do it now to get voted on by our staff here at the show. The email is in the sidebar or send it along to thejustinwayneshow@gmail.com.

Have a great week! More Bobby Scotch next week.

Episode 28: Entre Dans Explicit

Play

Do you like my bad french?

It’s an explicit show! Bobby Scotch went a bit crazy with the hip hop songs and I didn’t have the heart to bleeep them out.

…right after I posted the show I broke the chair I was sitting on (time for a new chair… or a diet!) the laptop hit the floor and hasn’t turned back on successfully yet. Keep your fingers crossed, but I think I killed it. I feel a bit like Cameron Fry on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off after the car flies out of the window…

May we all have a moment of silence for my computer… or tears.

Hope for the best!

Episode 21: Bobby Scotch - Part 1

What? Hip Hop on the JW Show? Really?

Yes. Really. Full-Stop. (That’s like saying “period” in England. If you actually say, “period” in England they think you’re talking about something that only happens one a month… you get the idea.)

Hip hop lovers looking for the freshest groove? We’re bringin’ it to you starting this week. My friend and new co-host Bobby Scotch helps bring in the beats with our new hip-hop segment, The Hip Hop Spot with Bobby Scotch. Bobby’s got quite the resume, making music videos and spinnin’ tracks for over 15 years. We’re glad to bring him into the fold and hope him and his tunes stay with us. Check out his production company at Six-ton.com.
