Tweet <<Due to recording errors and general bugs in the computer this week, this show did not get recorded for its usual podcast.  Because of this, we’ll re-create Episode 98 over the next two episodes of the show in each 1st hour, as the second hours will contain dynamite interviews with the band Junebug and next week with Larry Fulcher! To fill the gaping hole left by no JW Show podcast, I’ll throw the recent guest hosting I did on the Recharged Radio’s premiere show, The Friday Forum.  Look for that soon!>> Barreling out of control into episode 100 we go!  Great stuff on the show this week including another Scudley Session with Peter Renzullo (not to mention having just followed a fantastic episode of Close to Nowhere, have you got on this podcast...

Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 2:00:00 — 109.8MB)Subscribe: iTunes | Android | RSSTweet Right!  One more day before I get to grab up one of the so-called “smartphones” which then I would assume that the mobile phone I have now is a “stupidphone”?  I must say, I’ve been drooling over a few specific phones as I’m excited to write some emails and update the Facebook profile on the bus, as I seem to spend so much time on buses lately. Right!  Great stuff on the show this week.  Mark Riley from the band Mostly, Enfield Music dot com, not to mention a fine gentlemen is on the show this week… as well as another great Scudley Session!  Salv joins Peter Renzullo at Scudley Records Studios for a very interesting session.  These...

Also, we’ve got the results of the Twitter/Facebook Titty Bingo giveaway!   This is straight from Randy at TB Headquarters… “Winner of the 3 CD Set: @TheDavidBowers. Track of the Week this week comes from one that Alex (Head of Music at Recharged Radio) sent me along with the rest of his picks from the Recharged Radio new submissions.  This was one I heard with the iPod down in my jacket and I had to pull it all the way out to see who this was.  They’re called Victoria and Jacob and they’re based in London, so I get to go see them!  Yay! Speaking of you podcast listeners… your listening experience, particularly the...

Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 2:14:00 — 123.1MB)Subscribe: iTunes | Android | RSSTweet The Cowboy Cantor was in this week and it was great to get some live banter back on the show, especially with a podcaster whom I respect so much.  Rodrigo de Sa from The Cowboy Cantor Podcast was here and we really enjoyed having him on the show. The Track of the Week comes from The Paper Arrows who had originally submitted to Insomnia Radio Chicago but I put my arm around them and said, “come over here and play, too!”  They, of course, agreed and thus they’ve hit big on this week’s show. Also Peter Renzullo is back with Scudley Sessions Episode 3!  He’s got the lovely Pins and Ladles with him.  Listen to the show, the pop over to...

Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 2:01:00 — 111.2MB)Subscribe: iTunes | Android | RSSTweet Yup, Grey’s Anatomy is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.  But, how did I feel when Andrew Belle’s “Static Waves” was to appear on the show, just when Mark tells Callie to talk to Arizona about her feelings? (Yes, I know that sounds REALLY contrived.)  I was pretty darn stoked for our man Andrew, and thereby gave him Track of the Week for his achievement. The Scudley Sessions roll on this week again with Peter Renzullo bringing in a fabulous singer/songwriter Helen Shanahan.  More details are on the Scudley Sessions page with links back to Pete’s lovely indie record label, Scudley Records. We’ve also got to remind to you to vote for the Recharged Radio Awards...
